Labour Market Information Systems
The aim of this course is to develop institutional capacities for the operationalization of Labour Market Information Systems (LMIS). The focus is on building links with data sources that feed the system, produce and store selected indicators in a centralized repository, and make them available for generating reports on labour-market performance. Such systems are also powerful tools for labour market matching and evidence-based policymaking.
Who attends this course?
Statisticians and analysts from national statistical offices, ministries of labour and related institutions (such as labour observatories) and other government agencies responsible for labour-market data analysis and national SDG reporting; research and academic institutions; international organizations; development agencies; non-governmental organizations.
