Since the adoption of the 19th International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS) resolution in 2013, its implementation has expanded rapidly and is now the global norm. More recent resolutions adopted by the 20th ICLS (2018) and 21st ICLS (2023) are also being implemented at an increasing pace, reflecting their growing uptake worldwide.
